I have been competing in bodybuilding for the past two years and power lifting this year. This
requires a lot of hard training and discipline, along with a very strict, but healthy sports nutrition programme, including
protein supplements but totally drug free. I also follow a healthy diet off-season.
My role as Specialist Nurse involves meeting many different
types of people all the time. One important aspect of my role is giving presentations on many topics including Health Promotion,
which is an area of keen interest to me. I believe most can achieve a healthy lifestyle through exercise and good diet, if
they receive correct information and encouragement At my local gym, I am already seen as an inspiration to others and I believe I
can use my own healthy lifestyle and fitness level, to motivate and encourage others to do the same.
